Accucaps’ senior management team is comprised of individuals recognized as some of the best in the industry. Together, they combine their reputable experience to guide the company in its vision to provide encapsulation excellence.
Bruno assumed his role as President of Accucaps in August 2007. Previously, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer since April 2003.
Prior to Accucaps, Bruno was a member of the GlaxoSmithKline North American Supply Executive Team as a Regional Director with responsibility for the implementation of the Global Supply Network project. Bruno joined Glaxo in 1991.
During the following years, he held a series of roles with increasing responsibility in leading commercial, product development, manufacturing and supply operations at a site/country level as well as directing strategic improvements for the global organization at a corporate level.
Bruno has an Industrial Engineering Bachelors Degree from Ryerson University and a Master's Degree from the University of Cambridge.
Vince Quiquero, PhD
Executive Vice President, Research and Development
Vince serves as Executive Vice President of Research and Development and is responsible for managing the development, registration, and launch of new and existing proprietary and customer products.
Vince joined Accucaps as the Senior Director, Quality and Regulatory Affairs in April 2006. In June of 2007, Vince was promoted to Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs.
Prior to Accucaps, he held a number of roles of increasing responsibility with GlaxoSmithKline (1993-2001) and Eli Lilly (2001-2006). Vince has experience in pharmaceutical research; analytical method development; product development; project/program management in new business development and manufacturing and supply; preparation of regulatory documents; implementation of pharmaceutical quality management systems; and enhancing operational and GMP compliance.
Vince has a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Doctor of Philosophy in Organic Chemistry from the University of Western Ontario. The focus of his PhD work was the development of diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals.
Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Sylvain joined Accucaps in December of 2008. With over 25 years of broad-spectrum experience, in sales, marketing, R&D and medical affairs, Sylvain brings a wealth of knowledge and strategy in operating in today's demanding market.
Prior to joining Accucaps, Sylvain was at DecisionLine, Biovail, Searle and Zeneca, in positions of increasing responsibility, both in the US and Canada. His many years in big and small pharma have honed his skills in creating and providing value-added solutions to clients and patients.
Sylvain has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Ottawa.
Peter R. Draper, M.Sc. C.Chem. MRSC
Vice President of Product Innovation
Peter joined Accucaps in May 2005. His background of 30 years provides in-depth experience of the development, manufacture and control of healthcare products with particular experience in pharmaceutical and nutritional soft gelatin capsules, contract manufacturing, and product and services marketing.
Vice President of Quality
As Vice President of Quality, Colin McClintock is responsible for direct management and guidance of Accucaps’ commercial quality organization.
Colin is a pharmaceutical executive with nearly two decades of progressive and diverse experience in the quality, regulatory, and operational areas of the Rx and OTC drug fields. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Quality at Contract Pharmaceuticals Limited, providing strategic leadership and direction for the Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams. In addition to his work experience, Colin has been active with a number of industry associations, including committee participation with Consumer Health Products Canada and Consumer Healthcare Products Association.
Colin has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from the University of Toronto.
|Tom Hawkeswood, P. Eng.|
Vice President of Supply Chain
Tom Hawkeswood is responsible for the management, execution and guidance of ACCUCAPS’ Capital Projects, Information Technology and Supply Chain teams.
Tom joined ACCUCAPS’ leadership team in 2006 as the Director of Engineering. During his time with ACCUCAPS, he has built a broad-base of experience and a track record of successfully leading several key strategic initiatives. Prior to joining AIL, Tom spent the better part of a decade working in a variety of roles at an ever increasing amount of accountability and responsibility with ThyssenKrupp Fabco (MartinRea) with operations in Windsor, ON, Detroit, MI and Springfield, TN.
Tom attended Queen’s University in Kingston, ON where he obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and graduated from the University of Windsor with his MBA. He became a Professional Engineer in 2002.
|Anne Kim, BAccS, CGA|
Vice President of Finance
Anne Kim, ACCUCAPS’ newest leadership team member, began her position in mid-May bringing with her years of experience in Operations and Finance as a Controller and Vice President.
Most recently, Anne served as the Vice President and Interim Operations Head in the Healthy Snacks division of Sunopta, Inc. and held a number of roles with increasing responsibility since 2008. Prior to this, she served as the VP of Finance for ICC Healthnet Canada Inc., and the CFO of The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, ON. Anne brings with her over 15 years of experience overseeing the operating budget and financial planning for organizations in both the public and private sectors.
Anne earned her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting Science from the University of Calgary in Calgary, AB, and is a Certified General Accountant (CGA) licensed in Ontario.
